Throughout the Spring season 2022, we had a lot going on with baseball, pool playdates and just enjoying the spring weather.
Jeremy got free Padres tickets through his work, and this time the boys decided to take PJ with them!

After the game, Jeremy always gave the game ball to a player that did something amazing on the field and then the swag chain to a player that showed great character or sportsmanship. He likes to have the kids help nominate players. And then he reminds them, whether they lost or won, that the goal of hte game is to have fun and get better.
Tanner loved to make spreadsheets that showed the rankings of all his teammates. He liked to give them scores on different physical categories, like hitting, fielding and pitching.
It was revolutionary for me to add pictures to the doors in the primary hallway. And I'm so glad that we did! It made it a lot easier for the kids and teachers to find their way around.
College League at USD. Jeremy took his team here as a learning and bonding opportunity for the kids. They had a great time!

One night, we played pin the tie on the missionary. It was a game in the Friend Magazine.
Tanner put bumble bee tuna stickers on his bike helmet. This is the year that Tanner started consistently riding his bike to school.

Primary activity at the Family Search Center. The facility got a major upgrade during the pandemic shutdowns, so as the Primary President, I decided we should take the kids here once a month. And it became SO successful! The kids loved it here. At this activity, we are learning how to read a census through a detective activity.

Jeremy and Tanner crashed a father-son campout that was hosted by another ward. Jeremy was brave enough to invite friends from his baseball team.

Preparing for the IB Fest at school. Barbara Smith had a wonderful idea to expand the art fair that featured her art program and the artwork that students made to including all of the IB wheel teachers and allows us to showcase what we do in class. It was a very collaborative project and was a lot of fun to plan and carry out as a team of teachers for the arts. The principal and all the staff were also very supportive of the event, so the whole thing was really fun to figure out together.
I found Dallin making some wort of cookie treat all on his own in the kitchen. Such a cutie.

I love teaching at the same school that my kids attended. I never took this for granted and treasured every day. Sometimes at the end of the day, before riding their bikes home, the boys would come say hi to me and play with the things in the music room.
