Legoland!

We went to Legoland in October 2021!!

This was a Christmas gift that we and extended family gave to our kids in xmas 2019, but because of pandemic shutdowns we weren't able to get there until almost 2 years later. It was actually worth the wait. The boys loved this place far more than we anticipated. When we drove up to the park, there were some simple Lego statues on either side of the road. Tanner and Dallin started squealing and freaking out over them. Jeremy and I looked at each other and knew if they were amazed by those, they were going to flip when we were in the actual park. And they did!

We checked in to our hotel and then got into the park for the day. The boys had to stop at every creation. Since we were gonna be there for 3 days, 2 nights we didn't have to rush them, and it was so great!

A lot of the rides were just like Disneyland. You sit in a little boat and it takes you on a little display journey. These type of rides were super simple, and Jeremy and I were getting worried the boys might think it is lame. But they were on cloud 9 the entire time, pointing and cheering and ooinng and aaahing at everything. 💓💓

This ride was super fun. The boys got to drive around like maniacs in these lego cars.

The boys were so excited to see the mini city in the center of the park made up of Legos. They asked to go off on their own for 30 minutes to "really look at all the details" while we chilled at a picnic table. The park was really charming, not super crowded or hard to find your way. So we let them off, and they took a bunch of pictures.

While the kids were off looking at the mini city, Jeremy and I enjoyed this famous snack at Legoland called apple fries. They are SO good.

Nin-jago Land

Since the boys, especially Tanner, play with Legos so much, they were genuinely in admiration at every Lego statue. It was the sweetest thing to see them have so much respect and amazement for everything they saw.

That night, we at dinner at the big buffet in the hotel. We had a blast trying all the food and staying as long as we wanted. Then, we explored our room, which was adventure themed!

There was a cool scavenger hunt for the kids to take in order to figure out the code to this chest.

Inside the chest was a lego set to build for both boys!!

Even riding the elevator was an experience!! As soon as the door closes, dance party music comes on and everyone parties!

Going in on the 2nd Day! The boys came in an hour early to make it on the Ninjago ride and a roller coaster. They had a lot of fun.

We also went to the Lego aquarium. There were cool things to see, but we've been to better aquariums. The fun thing was spying lego stuff in the water with the fish.

 

At one point, we also went to the water park- I think on our 3rd day? Some of the areas were closed, but we had a lot of fun going down water slides and playing in the splash stuff. Jeremy and I swam too!

Good Bye Legoland! We Loved you so much! Thanks to Papa and Nana for helping pay for the hotel as our xmas gift. And thanks to Auntie Tanya and Uncle Clay for the gift card to spend at the store!!

As soon as we got home, the boys were building again!
