• The way your tongue gets ready to suck right before you latch on
• How you surprise yourself when you make a huge poop
• How you earnestly grab my finger when I let you eat it

• The layers of salty skin under your chin
• How your fists curl under when we lift you above our heads 

•  Your yawn

• Your piglet sounds that you snort when we put you on your tummy 
• Your drunken face after a good feeding, with smears of milk all over your mouth
• When you let us pose you for pictures 

•    How you put up with our crazy games

• The black hair-patch right above your bum
• The wonderment in your eyes when we hold you in the shower or bath

•  The way your arms fold over your chest when you cuddle with us

• How you can be screaming for food, then as soon as my boob or the bottle is next to your cheek you freeze mid cry and get ready to eat
• Your sigh of satisfaction
• The little wrinkles of skin that show up when you stretch your arms

• How you sleep anytime we take you out of the house

• Your angry "wah, wah" baby cry. It really sounds like that!
• The way your pacifier bobs up and down when you suck on it vigorously, and the chomp chomp chomp sounds that accompany

• The grunts you make when you try to adjust your head on my shoulder
• Your pouty face- with eyes all crinkled up, and your lips in the biggest rainbow frown I've ever seen!
• Your bead-tipped toes, those long feet, and the skinny ankles attached to them

•  And of course, your ever-present furrowed brow, trying to make sense of this crazy world
