Colorado 2021

August 2021- Our family was able to go visit the Robertson grandparents in Colorado.
I am writing this almost two years after the fact, so I can't remember what order we did these activities, but I was able to get all our pictures from this trip in one spot here. Tanya and Clay's family were able to be there for some of our trip. Charlotte was 22 months old then. Tanner was 10 yo with long hair and Dallin was 8 yo with short hair. We had a great time, and as you can see the weather was amazing the whole time. Beautiful Colorado!
Reading in the book nook.
Swimming at Sunset Pool
Cousin Charlotte was so excited to see Jeremy!
Golfing or weeding, I'm not sure.
Tanner and Grandpa playing catch
Making instruments with paper bags, tin foil and rice. Tanner and Dallin got into it too!
Charlotte was very proud of her instrument and liked marching around outside with it.
The boys were very good at loving on Charlotte and playing games with her.
Me, Grandpa, Jeremy, Tanner and Dallin took a day to go fish and explore in the mountains. It was a beautiful day! I don't think we caught any fish, but we had a really great time being up in the mountains. We got a lot of pictures because our kids don't get to be in the mountains very much.
Can you see Jeremy? He found a spot to sit alone and enjoy all the nature sounds and smells. I did the same thing from my spot taking this picture. It was really rejuvinating.
Seeing the Higgins gravesites.
The player piano was a hit.
Dallin is dancing to the music.
Both boys would follow Charlotte around, but it seemed to me that Dallin did it a little more. He was getting really good at playing with little kids at this point in his life.
Remember our backdoor neighbors from Minnesota? Well, they moved to a smaller home in Longmont!! So we hopped over to say hi, and had a great visit.
Colorado has the best sunsets!
Campfire with Uncle Lyman and the grandparents.
We visited with the Burke family!!
We went to the trampoline park and had fun!
Tanner, Charlotte and Desha
We were able to meet up with the Robertson cousins for a brief dinner at the park.

Lyman stopped by while we were playing, and the boys got some funny photos with him.

Helping Charlotte use the elevator in the house
The boys invented a game called Whoopsie with Charlotte, going down the stairs.
Tanner's head can easily fit in the mailbox!
