Desha came to Minneapolis for a friend's wedding the first weekend in June. We got to spend a night with her in the cities! I drove the boys up on Thursday night. We waited for her plane to land by going to a nature center across from the airport. Then, we ate at the rainforest cafe at the Mall of America. We had dessert at the crepe stand at Mall of America. We slept at a hotel, which the boys were thrilled about! The next morning, we all swam together in the hotel pool, ate lunch at an Indian restaurant and then walked across the old Stone Arch Bridge that crosses over the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis. Later, we said goodbye at a fancy Asian restaurant. It was great to see Desha and catch up with her. The boys loved talking to her and swimming with her. They were completely zonked out after our pool time! Thanks so much, Desha, for making time to see us while you had a busy weekend with friends! We love you!
