Grandparents come to babysit!

While Jeremy and I were in Guatemala in September, Gramz and Grampz came to watch the boys.
Gramz got into town late Friday Sept 18, about 5 hours before we had to leave early on Sat morning. There was no time for me to tell her anything about routine or show her where school was or anything! I especially felt bad because she hasn't been to our home for two years, so I tried to make really detailed notes about everything. (It's amazing all the details you have to remember when leaving your kids for a week). Luckily, Grandma's motherly instincts kept everything smooth sailing while we were  gone.
They had a blast playing outside.
They did lots of playing in the basement.

Homemade puppet show
On Wednesday, they drove to the cities to greet Grandpa's arrival. They enjoyed some sites at Mall of America and stayed the night at a hotel with a swimming pool.

Making Jello Jigglers!! The boys LOVED this activity and talked about it when we got back. Gramz is our jello grandma!
Grandpa got to know first hand why we don't like mowing our lawn, haha. His helpers gave up all too early, I guess.
Rochester Children's Museum
Mom and Dad found their nephew, our cousin, in Rochester. He is serving a full-time mission in our area. Right now he is a zone leader, which is leader over a large group of elders and sisters spreading the restored gospel in Southern MN area.
The boys had a blast with their Grandma and Grandpa Z. We are SO SO thankful they kept our boys well entertained while we were on our big trip. Thank you, Gramz and Grampz!!
