Blessed to be with the Beauchamps

After our week at Hilton Head we drove up to Charlotte to see our dear friends, the Beauchamp's. (Ryan and Jeremy were good friends as RA's at BYU, and then Ryan and Chelsea lived in the apartment above us in Provo, so the four of us became besties). We spent Saturday night and Sunday morning with their adorable kids before flying home. Needless to say, we had a blast!
Fun in the playroom.
For dinner, we ate the best tortilla pizzas ever.
Walk to the park.
Tanner and A. were born 12 days apart, and Dallin and M. & B. are only 2 months apart.
Tanner and E. had a blast playing Firemen. They successfully put out fires in my "house" and "school." Jeremy and Ryan helped them earn the privilege of making the fireman's oath. It was very official.
After the kids were all in bed we talked and talked. And talked. Chelsea is such an inspiration to me. I don't know how she keeps up with her little ones. She is so organized and energetic, loving without end, positive, thinks about important details, and at the same time, keeps it real and doesn't expect too much of herself.
On Sunday morning before church, Tanner and E. were once again inseparable. It was really neat to see them play together so well. We also had a great time doing "music class" as a group. We also got to enjoy what the Beauchamp's morning devotional. We got some great ideas of how to do more scripture reading with the boys.
For lunch, the boys all sat at the counter and the girls at the table. We ate the best quesadillas I've ever had. And we had lots of funny faces!
It was awesome to bask in the joy of the Beauchamp family and to get to know their littles so much better. I'm so glad we got a chance to be with them even though the visit was short. Until we meet again!
