Crystal and Steve are our best friends here in HB. On Saturday, they showed us all the back country here in So Cal. We enjoyed apple donuts, coldness, apple samples, a funny old man that knew everything about apple growing, long talks, apple tasting, apple picking, finding a squished fox, watching little kids, being silly, getting lost, trying to play lacrosse with our apples and apple picking sticks that have a catcher at the end of them, losing Scott and Stacy, listening to a really bad banjo band, and singing the Johnny Appleseed song. Did you know he was an actual person? He had a different name though. It was a very fun day, and now we're really in the spirit of Autumn time! Thanks Lineberrys!!

Sounds like a blast!! I'm glad fall is on the way and you get to experience it in a different place/way! BTW, we definitely have the names list you came up with! It's something that we do refer too... but just so many to choose from!
LOL yes I knew he was real, we celebrated his birthday in preschool and even went to a "johnny Appleseed party" If you taught in MN you would know b/c it's part of the elem. curriculum lol. BTW- I'm so jealous that you went apple picking, they don't like to let you do it here in MN b/c they're afraid you'll ruin their trees. And we love the apple pickers- as kids they wouldn't give them to you- you had to climb ladders. I hope you loved apple donuts- they're so tasty- you could almost be in N.E. the way your post reads..... and you guys look so cute!
SO cute! I love that last festive picture, that's a keeper for sure!
Johnny Appleseed, you'll have to shed some more light on him so I can be a more effective elementary school teacher, hehe!
